It’s amazing how something so simple can taste so good. I feel like this is barely a recipe, but I just have to share the deliciousness with you! Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
- sliced baguette (whole wheat or white, both are good)
- 1 garlic clove
That’s it… and there aren’t any measurements because it’s all to your liking and preference.
- Spread some butter on the slices of baguette and toast until butter is melted and baguette browns ever so slightly.
- Cut the clove of garlic to expose the flesh, and then rub it all over the bread! Get into the crusty edges and all over the buttery centres. This way you won’t bite into pieces of garlic and you still get a lot of flavour.
- Score your avocado and arrange the slices atop your baguette, or get fancy and mash it up with some salt, pepper, and lemon juice for an almost guacamole and then spread it on. I was starving so I went with the quickest way: scoring.
